These are apps built to one standard: nothing about you is collected, because there's nothing here to collect it with. Not a corporate policy. A personal line I hold every app in this list to, checked point by point below.
The Promise — 01/08
No account, ever. Nothing to sign up for, nothing to log into.
Nothing leaves your device unless you explicitly turn on a backup, and even then, only to your own iCloud, never to us.
How you use the app stays on the app. Usage patterns, what you open, when, how often, never leave your device, even with backup turned on. Your behavior is yours, not a data point.
No analytics, no crash reporters, no third-party SDKs that phone home.
No ads. No ad networks, no ad SDKs, no "personalized" anything.
We can't sell or share your data, because we never have it.
Paid means paid. A one-time purchase or an optional tip, never a data-for-features trade.
If this promise is ever broken, it's a bug. Tell us and we'll fix it publicly, not quietly patch it and move on.

Why this exists
I build a few different things. Some are free and carry ads. Some are paid. This list is neither of those. It's the smaller set of apps I've deliberately built with nothing to sell, because there's nothing in them worth selling in the first place.
That's not a promise a company can make convincingly. A company changes hands, changes incentives, changes its mind about what "collecting a little data" means. This is one person's name attached to one specific standard, held the same way for every app on this page. If that ever stops being true for one of them, it comes off this list.
